Meanwhile, Sultanate spokesman said in a recent report that a good number of Sulu fighters out to rescue beleaguered Filipinos in Sabah have managed to slip through joint PH Navy and Malaysia Navy blockade and have arrived in Sabah but so far, no news of any alarming 'activity' happening in Sabah itself has passed through the tight media blockade set up in Sabah by Kuala Lumpur defence and home ministry officials. Neither have we heard from PH Govt side.
The Malaysian media seem to be in the dark as well and have been basing their own news reports on PH media releases but with a slight twist saying that the Sultanate Army en route for Sabah were on mission to disrupt Sabah elections on 5 May....
April, 24, 2013 - 7:01 pmKirams expects fresh clashes after polls – ReportKOTA KINABALU: The Sulu Kiram clan expects clashes with defence forces in Sabah to resume soon, noting that Datuk Seri Najib Razak is afraid of offending the state’s Suluk population in view of the May 5 general election, a Philippines daily reported Wednesday.
The Philippine Star quoted Kiram clan spokesman Abraham Idjirani as saying that clashes will resume soon after some 1,000 Moro National Liberation Front (MNLF) fighters allegedly land in Sabah to reinforce the sultanate’s forces in Lahad Datu.
“At the moment, the Malaysians are very busy with their upcoming election and do not want to disturb Sabah where there are more than 600,000 Bangsa Suluk residents and voters,” he was quoted as saying by the newspaper.
Idjirani said the Bangsa Suluks in Sabah have kept strong ties with the people of Sulu.
“Prime Minister Najib (Razak) is afraid of offending them,” he said. “It might cost him votes.”
Idjirani added the Sulu commander in Lahad Datu, Agbimuddin Kiram, confirmed the arrival of the fully-armed MNLF fighters who have brought anti-tank weapons but said they have yet to link up.
Agbimuddin’s men remain mobile and continue to evade Malaysian security forces, he added.
“They have taken positions away from Kampung Tanduo and Tanjung Batu,” Idjirani said.
Hajib Mujaha Hashim, MNLF Islamic Command Council chairman, said the MNLF fighters are seasoned guerrillas.
“They are experienced in guerilla warfare,” he was quoted as saying in the report.
And as if on cue, earlier on Thursday 25 April, Malaysian media bannered that 35 Sulu militatnts attempting to cross to Sabah were shot dead by Philippine Navy and Coast Guard.

The Sultanate of Sulu and North Borneo (SSNB) made this strong statement on Thursday, denying and rejecting a news report in a Malaysian newspaper that said that Philippine Navy and Coast Guard personnel killed 35 Suluk (Tausug) militants on Wednesday trying to get into Sabah.
"We are denying that because no one is going there in Sabah because of the election there," sultanate spokesman Idjirani said on Thursday.
"If that is true, then the news will quickly spread like wildfire," he said.
According to Idjirani, the last time people from Sulu, Tawi-Tawi and Basilan went to Sabah was over two weeks ago referring to the 1,000 or so members of the Moro National Liberation Front (MNLF) who volunteered to help the sultanate's Royal Security Force (RSF).
"My wife and I were in Sulu on Wednesday. We did not hear anything. We arrived in Manila only in the evening," said Idjirani. He said the sultanate has no plans to disrupt the 13th General Elections (GE13) of Malaysia, saying "We are not involved in the election there, and we are not with the Malaysian opposition."
He accused Malaysian Defense Minister Datuk Seri Ahmad Zaid Hamidi of "lying and fabricating reports" about the supposed 35 slain Suluk militants.
Hamidi's statement came out on Thursday in the online edition of the The Star, citing an "intelligence report" that reportedly said the Suluk men wanted to disrupt the election.
The Malaysian official said the Suluk men were shot by Filipino soldiers after they refused to turn back, but were still in Philippine waters.

Idjirani said in Sabah (formerly North Borneo), there are over 600,000 Suluk people who are eligible voters because they have the identification cards (IC) called "Mahathir MyKad" issued in the past by the government.
MANILA, Philippines (2nd UPDATE) - The Philippine Navy on Thursday, April 25, denied that navy personnel shot and killed 35 "militants" trying to enter Malaysia.The Navy said there is no such report coming from the Tawi-Tawi naval task force commander, contradicting reports released by the Malaysian press earlier in the day.
"We have contacted our naval task force commander based in Tawi-Tawi and he said that there is no such report that has come to his attention," said Col Edgardo Arevalo, Navy spokesperson on West Philippine Sea matters.
Reports in Malaysian media said the 35 militants came from Sulu, and were killed by personnel from the Philippine naval and coast guard forces.
The militants were shot before they entered Malaysian territory, The Star newspaper in Malaysia reported Thursday, April 25, quoting Malaysian Defense Minister Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, who spoke in a press conference in George Town, Malaysia.
The Star, quoting Hamidi, said the group was attempting to enter Sabah to "cause problems" during the Malaysian general elections.
On this latest Malayasia defence minister Hamidi caper that the Philippine Navy and Philippine Coast Guard killed 35 Sulu warriors en route for Sabah to rescue beleagured Filipino fighters:
We think it is a lie! We think that Minister Hamidi's (in picture) declaration is aimed at discrediting the Philippine Navy and the Philippine Coast Guard to enrage the people of Sulu against the Navy and the Coast Guard hoping to stir a potential armed conflict in Sulu thereby taking the heat of fighting away from Sabah. We also think that Zahidi is lying so that his political party in Malaysia, i.e., National Front/Barisan Nasional, could consolidate a sure win in the forthcoming Sabah general elections...
In any case, altogether, the news that matters to us is about the Sulu fighters who have infiltrated Sabah - there is a saying: 'No bad news is good news.' So we shall wait and see. We wish our brave Sulu fighters good fortune...

In the news today: Peninsular Malaysia's
Defence Minister Zahid said that Misuari and his so-called MNLF
fighters should not try and test the patience and strength of Malaysian
security forces which included the army, police and Malaysian Maritime
Enforcement Agency.
Big words, Mr Zahid! Big words from the mouth of a little Malayan politician!
Come
to think of it, is Mr Zahid threatening to invade Sulu with Kuala
Lumpur's troops? His big words about the "strength of Malaysian security
forces" is almost a declaration that he would and that he could if you
read between the lines!
To
be perfectly honest, if there is anyone in the Republic who should feel
threatened, it is President Aquino; sadly we don't think Mr Aquino
cares or if he does, he is tetanised by fear!
Which,
incidentally, we must remind our great and benighted leader, President
NoyNoy, that if he looks at things in Mindanao purely from a tactical
perspective, he will realise that will not be a difficult task for Zahid
to order his already stationed troops in Mindanao and his new
pro-Malaya recruits, the MILF, to sow havoc in Mindanao and to kidnap or
kill would-be Filipino Tausug officcers and warriors bound for Sabah in
Mindanao itself. But that is Mr Zahid's -- and Mr Aquino's, problem and
not ours.
(Just
so everyone knows, we have consistently warned President NoyNoy that
his allowing Kuala Lumpur troops to be stationed in Mindanao is giving
Kuala Lumpur military the incredible right to establish a military
beachhead in Mindanao. We guess that he did that to please his Daddy and
his Mommy.)
In
any case, the good but excitable Malaysia Defence Minister Zahid is out
of his mind. Before anything else, we don't believe for one nano second
that this grandstanding by Mr Zahid will make Nur Misuari cower in
fear. Secondly, Zahid must put it in his tiny brain that not once did
Nur Misuari threaten to invade Peninsular Malaysia of which Kuala Lumpur
is capital, therefore there is no threat whatsoever against 'Malaysia.'
If
Zahid thinks that he could bamboozle Nur Misuari, who has been
imprisoned left, right and center by both the governments of Kuala
Lumpur and Imperial Manila over the last few decades, into submission by
stupid warnings, then he must go see a doctor for prescription pills to
ease his nerves.
On
Zahid's implying that Sabah is part of Kuala Lumpur's sovereignty, Mr
Zahid is propagating Kuala Lumpur's tradition for distorting historical,
legal and moral facts! Before he goes on one of his wild goose chases
again, we advise him to read and re-read history so that he can be
apprised of the very basic fact that Sabah was illegaly annexed to the
Malaya Federation by the British colonial lords of Sabah after British
finally let go of their colonial throttle over the land whose
proprietary rights belong to the Sultanate of Sulu. Which, by any
stretch of his wild imagination, does not mean Kuala Lumpur has suddenly
become sovereign rights holders of Sabah.
Surely,
Mr Zahid is aware that the illegal annexation was brought about when
the lessees, Messrs Overbeck and Dent's British North Borneo Company,
transferred its lease to the British Crown in 1946 something which
violated a key provision in the contract of lease. The ensuing British
Crown colonisation of Sabah did not give Kuala Lumpur the right to annex
it - in fact, Kuala Lumpur had absolutely nothing to do with Sabah
until the creation of the Malaysia Federation which sought to annex
despite protestations from the Republic of the Philippines which had
establised de jure sovereignty rights over it by virtue of the transfer
made by the sultanate in 1962.
Furthermore, Mr Zahid must remember that there exists a 1963 Manila Accord which
was co-signed no less than by one of the fathers of his own country,
Malaya Federation's Tunku Abdul Rahman, of which Provision 12 clearly
stipulates that the creation of the 1963 Malaysia Federation does not
extinguish the Philippine sovereignty rights claim to Sabah.
In
fine, it would do well for Mr Zahid to stop all his nonsense
declaration that Nur Misuari has threatened his country's sovereignty.
The boundaries of his country, Malaya Federation or Peninsular Malaysia
today, do not extend to Sabah. His troops are illegaly fermenting chaos
in Sabah. Nur Misuari, like any Tausug, like any warrior, like any man
worthy to be called a man, like any Filipino patriot, has all the right
to fight for Sabah and to kill -- if necessary -- its enemies of whom
Malaysian troops on orders of Mr Zahid's Kuala Lumpur government are
part.
For
the umpteenth time, we repeat, Sabah's sovereignty rights do not belong
to Malaya Federation-Peninsular Malaysia. No amount of threats or
warnings in public by Zahid could change this one inalienable fact!

Sulu: In a camp set up by the Moro National Liberation Front in this
part of southern Philippines, recruits are being trained by veteran
combat fighters “to rescue” thousands of Filipinos allegedly being
abused by Malaysian security forces in Sabah.

Chairman Nur Misuari gave News5 an exclusive peek into the on-going
training for members of “Operation Rescue”" as he claimed they were
ready to “sustain a war for a hundred years” if necessary.
Misuari,
founder of the original Moro insurgent force in the 1960s, claimed
1,000 of their men have already snuck into Sabah where a stand-off began
February 12 between Malaysian forces and followers of the Sulu
sultanate out to “reclaim” ancient territory.Misuari stressed that their
troops are not allied with the Royal Sultanate Army but have as their
main mission the “rescue” of Filipinos allegedly being “abused” by
Malaysia. The report was carried by online portal InterAksyon.net.
Misuari claims recruits are being trained by veteran combat fighters “to rescue” thousands of FilipinosOver 60 Filipinos have died in the standoff, and thousands others are feared caught in the crackdown.Separate
from Misuari’s statements, members of the self-styled “Royal Security
Force of the Sulu Sultanate” who remain holed up in Lahad Datu, Sabah,
claim to have received additional reinforcements from sympathizers in
the Basilan, Sulu and Tawi-Tawi areas.
Abraham
Idjirani, sultanate spokesman and secretary general, claimed in a phone
interview that as of Tuesday, Raja Muda Agbimuddin Kiram and his Royal
Security Force are 400-strong, after dwindling to just over 160 in the
face of heavy Malaysian assault.
Idjirani
said more Filipinos went to Sabah on March 29 and April 5 on board
boats, able to slip past the naval blockade set up by both the
Philippines and Malaysia. He said “70 to 80 per cent” of those who went
there were reportedly armed. He said these Filipinos went there on their
own due to “accumulated anger” after their loved ones in Sabah were
either allegedly killed or harassed by Malaysians.
Idjirani’s
claims could not be independently verified, and Philippine military
officials have said that naval forces are in place to block any such
attempts to reinforce the sultanate’s followers in Sabah.At
the MNLF camp, trainees were being instructed on the use of machine
guns and rocket-propelled grenades. Sulu Gov. Abdulsakur Tan cautioned
Misuari against any rash actions, while a military spokesman warned that
the supposed rescue plans, if carried out, would go against Philippine
policies on the Sabah standoff.
In
SANDAKAN, Defence Minister Dato’ Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi had strong
words for Misuari, warning him not to threaten the sovereignty of
Malaysia.He
said Misuari and his so-called MNLF fighters should not try and test

“We are ready from any external threat,” Zahid told reporters after visiting the Sandakan Prisons Department Tuesday.Zahid said Misuari had long been rejected and abandoned by his own people.

Philippines recognise him anymore. (The Nur) Misuari era is long gone,”
said Zahid.
According
to Zahid it was Malaysia’s intention to find peace in the region as it
was the responsibility of neighbours to ensure good relations with one
another.

OUR VIEW: Do these Kuala Lumpur officials really believe that they've 'crippled' the Suluk Army movement with the arrest of one Suluk and his wife in Sabah?
They must have been reading lots of fairy tales to cling to such fantasmagorical beliefs that they can cripple the Tausugs of Sulu just like that! Fantasmagorical declarations won't make a dent in the Suluk Army's great fighting prowess.
Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar merely is extending the stupidity of Kuala Lumpur officials when they propagate historical fantasies to their people whom they have been feeding during school years with some completely rubbish examples. Some of the lies that Kuala Lumpur officials deliberately propagate to Peninsular Malaysia youth which, if we do not put a stop to, will be historical fantasies that Sabahan youth will be believing:
(1) that Malaya fought for its independence from the Brits which is total hogwash! The Malayans did not want to be independent -- they were so fearful of being left with the Chinese in Malaya, they wanted the Brits to stay and play nanny to them. But the Brits said, "You are going to have your independence whether you like it or not in 1957."
(2) Kuala Lumpur officials continue to spread the fallacy that MALAYSIA gained their independence from the British in 1963 which is total hogwash. MALAYSIA was created in 1963 by "federating" Malaya Federation (Peninsular Malaysia whose capital today is Kuala Lumpur), Singapore, Sarawak and Sabah so how could the Brits grant MALAYSIA Independence when it was only created in September 1963. Furthermore, the Brits had technically and very officially not ruled Malaya Federation since 1957!
(3) that Malayans were responsible for the defeat of communists in Peninsular Malaysia which is an utter, total hogwash. It was the Brits led by General Gerald Templar along with the Aussies, the Indian recruits and the Gurkhas who fought and defeated Communist insurgents in Malaya! The bone-idle Malayans could not be trusted to fight with the Brits. Half the time, local Malayan intel was rubbish... Oh, yes, the Malayans carried the bags and drove for the fighting soldiers of the combined British Commonwealth but doing the fighting? No way. In fact, a senior British military officer said the Malayan SOB recruits were "a total waste of precious meagre rations."
(4) that Malayans fought the Indonesians in what has been known as the Konfrontasi, the low-intensity armed conflict over Sarawak which took place 1962-1966; complete, utter hogwash! The Malayans did not do bloody anything! It was the Brits, the Aussies, the New Zealanders, the Gurkhas, the Indian recruits who fought the Indonesians during the Konfrontasi years! Where were the Malayans? Twisting their bone idle bodies, doing nothing, incapable of lifting their backsides even if it meant their very own survival!
(5) through a series of half-truths and printed tricks, that North Borneo (Sabah) was included in the Malaya Federation (Attn: Malaya Federation is not Malaysia Federation) which was given independence by the British in 1957. A complete fabrication which must be told Sabahans.
Kuala Lumpur spews lies, lies, lies, etc, etc., etc., ...The Malayans are the greatest propagandists of lies, much like their best friends today, China...
So, we say to Malaya's Deputy Director General of the Police Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar: Go tell what you say to your marines!

LAHAD DATU: The security forces have successfully crippled the movements of the terrorists from Sulu who intruded into Lahad Datu after capturing their military commander in Semporna, early this morning.
Deputy Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar said the man, in his 40s, was detained with his wife at a swampy area at 1.30am after a tip off.
He said the security forces also detained a local who provided all the needs of the terrorists from the early days of their landing in Kampung Tanduo on Feb 12 until today.
Without going into further details on the man who is in his 40s, Khalid said he was caught at 10pm yesterday in Kampung Tanduo and was now being held under the Immigration Act.
“The local coordinator has been identified as the individual who made arrangements for food and drinks, accommodation, transportation and medicine for the terrorists since the early part of the intrusion.
“With the capture of the commander and a local stooge of the terrorists, I am confident the terrorist group is now crippled,” he told a media conference at the security forces operations heaquarters at Felda Sahabat 16 near here today.
Khalid said with the capture of the two individuals, he believed the movements of the remnants of the terrorists were now limited and weakened as they were directionless and no longer getting assistance from locals.
