KEEP CHINA OUT OF THE SCARBOROUGH SHOALS! MODERNISE OUR AIR AND NAVAL FORCES NOW!

According to a report by Marco Santino on the Modernize the Philippine Navy Page on Facebook Modernize the Philippine Navy on Faceboo: 

The government has recieved $1.4 billion dollars from Malampaya revenue last year. The President should have a special power to tap this fund to buy credible patrol ships, air defense radar, maritime patrol ships and fighter jets immediately to boost our defense against bully nations. Imagine $26 trillion dollars according to Manila Bulletin.
That s why China is so eager to grab this territory. The 1.4 Billion is so small compare to the huge wealth this gas field will give to our country. Its not too late, but the government should act quickly on this. For future generations of Filipinos. Act now please...

The Philippines needs to re-focus, if not shift its defence doctrine from internal security to defence against external threats (which had been the basis of the AFP Modernisation Law to begin with) to ward off or at the very least guard our territory against these irritating foreign bully tactics. There is an absolute need to acquire more naval assets to patrol the West Philippine Sea.

It is primordial to patrol our coastal areas relentlessly short of physically occupying them if they are inhospitable. It is common sense that our house runs less risks of being broken into if someone is in the house. Even the Chinese would be hard put to jerk our military operatives stationed on our shoals or if these shoals were guarded/patrolled.

Our air assets must be modernised as well... they are needed to provide air cover and at the same time do patrol exercises. They will serve as useful deterrence against incursion into our territorial waters.

Modernising our navy and our air force is not a declaration of intent to engage in a shooting war with China forces. Not at all. It is a show of our determination to keep what is ours and if anything at all, modernising these two components of our armed forces will serve as deterrence against potential external threats.

ONE BILLION DOLLARS can easily provide the cash outlays needed for procurement of a few bottoms and their retrofittings which I reckon will be required if we buy second hands. We don't need to go for frigates if the acquisition rationale is to provide navy with patrol powers. Corvettes with 30mm guns (with modern FCS) will be sufficient for the time being. What we need are bottoms, plenty of bottoms!

Another billion dollars can easily provide us the cash outlay needed for the procurement of a squadron of F-16. Even if we start the procurment today, remember that the equipment will not be deliverable before a couple of years at the very earliest. So act now!

PHILIPPINE GOVERNMENT DIRECTIVE ON THE NORTH BORNEO (SABAH) ISSUE

Four years ago, Malacanang issued a Memorandum [GUIDELINES ON MATTERS PERTAINING T0 NORTH BORNEO (SABAH)] to government departments with regard to the handling of the burning Sabah issue.

So, contrary to what many detractors of the Philippine Sabah claim, the Government of the Republic of Philippines has never recognised Malaysia's purported sovereignty over North Borneo (Sabah). The Philippines, effectively, has always maintained historical and legal rights over Sabah. The documents have also been posted on Facebook by the Philippine Sabah Claim Forum for wider dissemination.

GUIDELINES ON MATTERS PERTAINING T0 NORTH BORNEO (SABAH)

WHEREAS, by virtue of Article 1 of _the 1987 Constitution on National Territory, the Phíiìppines has hìstorical and legal right over certain parts of North Borneo (Sabah);

WHEREAS, it is in the national interest to safeguard the country's hístoricai and legal right in North Borneo (Sabah);

WHEREAS, the Philippines believes in the peaceful resolution of disputes with neighboring countries as provided under the same Constitution, which expressly states that the Philippines adheres to the policy of peace, equality, justice, freedom, cooperation, and amity with all nations;

WHEREAS, there is a need for guidelines with regard to activities, acts or statements in relation to North Borneo (Sabah) for the protection of the said rights;

WHEREFORE, the following guìdeiìnes are hereby prescribed:

Section 1. No Department, agency, or instrumentality of the Philippine Government shall make any act or statement expressing or implying, directly or indirectiy, any recognition of a foreign state's sovereignty over North Borneo (Sabah) or non-recognition of Philippine title or historicai and legal rights to the same.

Section 2. Any official activity, act or statement relating to North Borneo (Sabah) or which may have bearing on the Philippine claim to said territory shall be carried out only with the clearance of or after consultations with the Department of
Foreign Affairs.

Section 3. Reference to North Borneo (Sabah) in official documents should not include its being part of a larger national/federal territory. These .documents include, but are not limited to, the following: Philippine passports, agreement, agreed minutes, joint communiqués, record of discussions, and similar documents..

Section 4. Philippine government visiting North' Bdrneo (Sabah) shall provide the DFA with a report on their travel thereto.

This Circular shall take effect immedately.

ALARMING! GPH-MILF creating a "new political entity" [as per Malaysia 'diktat'?]

ALARMING: The joint statement by the Govt of the Republic of the Philippines and hardline rebel group Moro Islamic Liberation Front signed on 24th April 2012 in Kuala Lumpur contains a reference to the creation of a "new political entity." 

But what could the term mean? 

The meaning of the term "new political entity", i.e., an independent government, a new political enclave, etc., etc., could not have been lost on a top jurist like Dean Marvic Leonen. We believe the "new political entity" doctrine contained in the GPH-MILF Decision Points of Principles as of April 2012  is actually a continuation of the disrupted Gloria Macapagal Arroyo plan to dismember the Republic when the past administration almost signed away a big portion of Mindanao to Malaysia's proxy, the MILF. The Supreme Court stopped it on time.

We believe that the reference in that joint agreement to a 'new political entity' being created can not be a lapse in judgement, certainly not by a top jurist like Dean Marvic Leonen. We believe that this agreement is spelling out a potentially realistic surrender of republican sovereignty over a big portion of our national territory to God knows which entity. 

Another important point that's so glaring in that "agreement" because of its absence:  The non-mention of internal security powers by the state in that agreement is rather alarming; what does it say or not say? That if the state's internal security is threatened and that the threat is emanating from that new "political entity", the state will have no powers to do something about it... In other words, the AFP, whose mandate is to protect the people of the republic and has for its sworn duty to defend the state from threats coming from within (as well as from external threats), shall not  lift a finger???

WHAT NEW POLITICAL ENTITY HAVE YOU HATCHED WITH THE MILF MR MARVIC LEONEN (AND OTHER QUESTIONS)?

Philippine chief of peacetalk panel Mr Marvic Leonen, what "new political entity" were you and Mr M. Iqbal of the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) referring to in the joint statement you both signed in Kuala Lumpur yesterday, 24th April 2012 under the very watchful eye (a kind of Malaysia diktat one might easily suppose) of Mr Ghafar Tengku Mohammed of Malaysia???? (Picture of the signing taken 6 hours before this post was made.)

Reference to the "new political entity" is contained in point number 6 about power sharing. Incidentally, how do you propose to deal with the Moro National Liberation Front (MNLF) when they decide to have their own "political entity"? 

Going back to that joint statement you signed (on behalf of the Republic of the Philippines and its more than 90 million souls) with the MILF, we dare say that we breathed a sigh of relief: we are glad you put a kind of caveat in that joint agreement there whereby you have stipulated that the Government of the Philippines will "retain" some powers in matter of defence and external security (sub-points "a" to "f" in point 6 of the agreement.)  

That said, we found it utterly disturbing when after a thorough examination of the 10 points in that signed joint agreement, there was no mention of INTERNAL SECURITY. The total ABSENCE OF any reference to state powers with regard to our or the nation's INTERNAL SECURITY is glaring! We don't understand! We really don't... Does the government mean that the state will be absconding from its prime responsibility vis-à-vis citizens of the republic and the provinces (political entities) they inhabit in terms of internal security?

Mr Marvic Leonen, we, the citizens of the Republic of the Philippines, the people who make up this nation, the people who elected members of the political system of this country into positions they find themselves, deserve to know what exactly you have planned to do or are doing with the MILF and their masters, the Malaysians!

SCARBOROUGH SHOAL BELONGS TO THE PHILIPPINES

Why is bully China trying to expand towards Philippine territory? Doesn't make sense! Before you know it, they would be claiming the Philippine province of Zambales next!

Even an untrained Chihuahua will see that the Panatag shoal is just a few miles from the Philippine baseline shores (never mind the 200 mile EEZ!) than it will ever be to the nearest China coastline.

And now we've learned that Malacanang websites are under attack by suspected Chinese hackers!

The Philippines must, for the sake of peace — yes, FOR the sake of peace, MODERNISE OUR NAVY AND OUR AIR FORCE… The Philippines MUST PHYSICALLY OCCUPY our shoals or at the very least relentlessly patrol them (if the shoals are inhospitable)… But we cannot physically establish ownership of our shoals found within a few miles of our shore (part and parcel of the Philippine regime of islands) without the means to occupy and to guard them so we must modernise our navy and our air force.

This is in no way a declaration of intent to engage China in a shooting war but for goodness sake it is common sense that your home has less risk of being broken into and looted when they know it is inhabited. The same common sense applies to the shoals no matter how some detractors think that China is Lord and Master to all or that it’s useless to even try to do something…

China will be hard put to jerk military occupants from our shoals and islets and throw them into the sea even if they have the military means far superior than ours — politically, it will be international suicide to do something of the kind and the Chinese, bullies as they may seem to us, will care about international backlash!

MALAYSIA's UMNO political party, which has been in power since the British gave Malaya their independence in 1957, will continue to make Sabah their milking cow to enrich and fatten up Peninsular Malaysians and keep UMNO in power while Sabahans remain destitute. Sabahans have been and will continue paying the price for being timid! And the Republic of the Philippines, which owns the sovereignty rights over Sabah, is paying the price, i.e., continuing trouble in Mindanao, for allowing to be walked on all over by Malaysia's leaders. ‎2 BILLION RINGGITS ARE EXCHANGING HANDS AS I WRITE THIS TO FINANCE THE 3rd SUBMARINE THAT IS IN THE PIPELINE WHICH WILL UNDOUBTEDLY BE USED AGAINST THE PHILIPPINE NAVY IN THE FUTURE.

What the latest report [‘Save Sabah, if you want Malaysia’ by Raymond Tombung March 22, 2012], says, “The people now realise that they have been fooled and cheated for the last 48 years resulting in Sabah being the poorest state in Malaysia and being completely powerless politically.

“In addition, the revenues of Sabah of some RM22.7 billion in taxes in 2011 and its oil revenue of some RM15.0 billion in 2011 flowed out of Sabah.
 “If the 20-Points had been implemented and honoured, all these RM37.7 billion would have been collected and remained in Sabah.

“Even an equal apportion will result in at least RM18.8 billion being retained for Sabah’s infrastructure and human capital development.”

WHO ARE FAKE 'SULTAN' FUAD KIRAM AND FAKE 'PRINCE' OMAR KIRAM?

Datu Fuad A. Kiram I is one of the sons (not a firstborn) of Sultan Esmail Kiram I. He is a Royal Datu and one of the Kiram heirs but never a Raja Muda or a Sultan. At least not legitimately! He was content of that fact before he met a certain Dux Legazpi by accident who is a CON-ARTIST in 2004. Dux aka Omar saw an opportunity to make potential wealth knowing that Fuad being a royalty but destitute will be his puppet in his grand scheme of things. Omar made a business proposal to Fuad which Fuad took the bait hook, line and sinker. Fuad then introduced Omar to his nephew, Rajamuda Muedzul-Lail "Butch" T. Kiram. They met in Zamboanga and Butch was asked by the two stooges to confer them a title of Regent Sultan of Sabah and Datuk respectively which Butch obliged. Fuad signed a pledge of allegiance to his nephew, the Rajamuda. Check the proof below.

Then Omar started his Con-Artist games along with Fuad meeting with Malaysian officials unbeknownst to Butch and asked for 10B dollars so they won't make noise about reclaiming Sabah. Needless to say, the Prime Minister of Malaysia just laughed at them. First of all, the only Sultan that the Philippine and Malaysian governments recognized is Sultan Jamalul who was Sultan Punjungan's Raja Muda and who ascended to the Sultan throne after Sultan Punjungan's death. That was not the first attempt either. Later on, when they started their advocacy on facebook and deceived many of us with their intentions. They asked for Anne de Bretagne's help to open the back door for them being that Anne knew PM Najib when she lived in Malaysia as country chief of a European business concern. But that did not materialize either.

In the meantime, Omar pays for Fuad's rent of a modest house in Angono, Rizal for around five hundred pesos at that time. Last I heard from Fuad's third wife, Farida who he abandoned with their daughter, it's still the same. Fuad went back to his second wife and probably with some influence from Omar. Omar used to see Farida around when she and Fuad were still together. Fuad and Omar were said to be selling FAKE Datuk titles for money. That's how they made their money, being business partners. Omar as a Con-Artist has always been smooth and believable. He bragged to Farida that he is a graduate of Heraldry. It's the tool that he uses now to bestow FAKE COAs and titles. But according to our own expert in COAs, he made some mistakes in those COAs but nobody else is the wiser since most of us don't know how an authentic COA is supposed to look like with every minute details. But conferment is nevertheless, illegal since they are not legitimate Sultan and Prince.

Omar asked Butch to come up to Manila to meet some people. Omar introduced Butch to EJ Ekker whose association with Tagean-Tallano Estate has been revoked. EJ Ekker is known to be a "Treasure Hunter" for gold bullions. Omar is convinced that the Kiram family has gold bullions hidden in some banks. Butch did not and does not believe this and neither does Sultan Jamalul. So Butch naturally did not associate with EJ Ekker. He was not comfortable with the arrangement. He said that he is content being in his farm earning from the land more than enough for their needs. He even supports Fuad's third wife Farida and their daughter Habiba since Fuad abandoned them and has not given a single cent since the baby was born. These are some of the reasons that Fuad's family is bitter about. They are ashamed of Fuad's abandonment of little Habiba. With Omar’s manipulation, they concocted a story of baselessaccusations against Butch that have not been proven. Instead, Butch obtained apolice clearance and school clearance showing his clean records and statingthat no such incidents ever happened.

But the last straw that broke the camel's back was when Omar had connived with the Council of 15 within the MNLF to replace Nur Misuari with Hatimil Hassan as chairman of the MNLF who was in jail at that time. Omar tried to dissuade Butch from visiting Nur Misuari in jail in Manila. Butch had to travel to Manila to see Nur. Omar was meeting the Council of 15 in Manila and they needed Butch signature to implement their scheme. So Omar falsified Butch signature in a hotel with the Council of 15. Someone rushed and flew to Sulu to alert Butch of what had just happened. Butch then stripped Fuad and Omar's titles. Check the proof below.

Fuad was also ex-communicated by the Regent Sultan or Crowned Prince, Esmail Kiram II for the following reasons:

1. Desecration of the Royal Order of Succession by manipulating the genealogy removing the true successor in line to the throne. (This is the line of succession document they falsified and posted on their website).

2. Desecration of the Throne of the Royal Kingdom of Sulu and North Borneo by replacing the Royal Nobility titles with English Nobility titles. (This is their modus operandi of conferring European titles to gather support disrespecting the Muslim tradition and the Sultanate royalty).

3. Desecration of the Royal House of Sulu by appointing a non-Royal blood to the Throne of the Royal House. (This is the appointment of Dux Legazpi who changed his name to Omar Kiram then proclaimed himself as Grand Prince  and Prince Marshal of Sulu and Sabah, and who has no single drop of Kiram blood nor a royalty blood).

Shortly after that, Fuad and Omar moved on to higher ranks of proclaiming themselves as Sultan of Sulu an Sabah and Grand Prince and Prince Marshal which is a made up title to suit Omar's intentions to manipulate and deceive people. Fuad's coronation was held in a basketball court far away from the seat of the Sultanate in Sulu. There was no single royalty in attendance and only attended by some people who watched out of curiosity. It was so undignified for a Sultan of Sulu and Sabah. It's because the proclamation and coronation was illegal on the first place. In their FAKE conferments of FAKE European titles, they even changed the name of a place of Sulu (Maimbung) which is the seat of the Sultanate to Royal Maimbung. The conferment of FAKE European titles are against the old Muslim tradition and disrespecting that tradition. One would ask why they would do that. For as long as there are KSPs (Kulang sa pansin) and BSS (Bilib sa sarili) there will be takers. They gather supporters that way by talk of FAKE royalty and nobility. But none of them are nobles even with titles granted to them. How can one be noble when none of the titles are of nobility and to top it all, was bestowed by a FAKE Sultan and Prince? So FAKE or not, it's a usual QUID PRO QUO!

  

These are the photos of Fuad's self-coronation in a very undignified venue, a basketball court away from the seat of the Sultanate. Ask yourself, WHY? The anwer is obvious. He is not a legitimate Sultan. Only posing as one,  part of their schemes with the Master Puppeteer.

  

THOUGH FUAD IS ONE OF THE SONS OF SULTAN EMAIL I HE IS NOT THE RAJA MUDA! IT WAS THE SULTAN'S BROTHER, PUNJUNGAN. 

THEY CANNOT CONTRADICT THE OLD MUSLIM TRADITION BY THE RUMA BECHARA AND THE SIGNED PETITION APPROVED BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES. TO BECOME SULTAN, ONE HAS TO BE A RAJA MUDA FIRST SELECTED BY THE RUMA BECHARA AND NOT WHOEVER JUST BECAUSE HE IS A SON. THERE IS A LINE OF SUCCESSION TO FOLLOW. FUAD WAS NEVER CLOSED TO BE AN HEIR APPARENT. 

WE HAVE ALL DOCUMENTS OF PROOF IN OUR COLLAGE OF PHOTOS. BUT EVEN IF WE TAKE INTO CONSIDERATION THEIR INSISTENCE TO USE THE LAW OF PRIMOGENITURE, FUAD STILL WOULD NOT QUALIFY BECAUSE HE IS NOT THE FIRST BORN. IT WAS HIS BROTHER, MAHAKUTTAH WHOSE SON HE CHOSE TO BE HIS RAJA MUDA IS MUEDZU-LAIL OR BUTCH KIRAM. FUAD WAS CONTENT BEING A DATU AND ONE OF THE KIRAM HEIRS UNTIL HE MET OMAR IN 2004. 

DUX LEGAZPI WHO LATER ON CHANGED HIS NAME TO OMAR KIRAM IS A CON-ARTIST WHOSE ONE SOURCE OF LIVING WAS SELLING "FAKE" OR KNOCK-OFF DESIGNER BAGS. TO JUSTIFY FUAD AND OMAR'S GRAND SCHEME OF THINGS OF STEALING THE TITLE AWAY FROM BUTCH, THEY FABRICATED ACCUSATIONS AGAINST BUTCH OF BEING HARAM WHICH ARE FALSE. BUTCH HAD OBTAINED POLICE CLEARANCE AND SCHOOL CLEARANCE TO PROVE THAT FUAD AND OMAR'S ALLEGATIONS DID NOT HAPPEN. NOTHING WAS EVER PROVEN IN THE JUSTICE SYSTEM EITHER OR ANY CHARGES BROUGHT AGAINST BUTCH. 

FUAD KIRAM IS THE ONE WHO IS "HARAM" AFTER HE ABANDONED HIS THIRD WIFE AND CHILD. HE IS POSING AS THE SULTAN AND DECEIVES PEOPLE UNDER THE MANIPULATION OF HIS MASTER PUPPETEER, OMAR "FAKE" KIRAM WHO DOES NOT HAVE A DROP OF KIRAM BLOOD OR A ROYAL BLOOD RUNNING THROUGH HIS VEINS.

Whatever documents they have on their website are doctored and are for spurious photo ops. Not a single proof that holds water!

Sultan Jamalul with then young Prof. Nur Misuari. Anne de Bretagne had a lengthy conversation with Nur Misuari and he did not recognize Fuad as Sultan but was  consistent in calling him Datu Fuad. He also said, " Omar is a mystery to me. I don't know where he came from". But Fuad and Omar claimed in their website that MNLF and Nur Misuari support Fuad. We challenged them to show the letter of support or appointment and not just "photo ops" to which Nur said they asked for a meeting so he obliged. I also had a lengthy conversation with a senior MNLF official who also said that MNLF did not give support to Fuad much less recognized him as Sultan. He said that as far as the organization is concerned, they remain neutral though personally people know who they recognize as the true Sultan. He laughed and alluded to Jamalul.

REASONS WHY FUAD IS NEVER A LEGITIMATE SULTAN:

1.  HE WAS NOT PROCLAIMED BY THE RUMA BECHARA

2.  HE WAS NOT A RAJA MUDA

3.  HE WAS NOT AN HEIR APPARENT IN THE LINE OF SUCCESSION

4.  HE IS "HARAM"

             A. BY ABANDONING HIS THIRD WIFE AND CHILD.

             B.  THROWING UNFOUNDED ALLEGATIONS AT HIS NEPHEW

             C. CONNIVING WITH OMAR IN DECEIVING PEOPLE BY SELLING FAKE ROYALTY TITLES

             D. POSING AS SULTAN.

5. FUAD DOES NOT QUALIFY AS SULTAN EVEN IF WE TAKE INTO CONSIDERATION THE LAW OF PRIMOGENITURE  THEY INSIST TO JUSTIFY FUAD'S FAKERY AGAINST THE OLD TRADITION OF THE SULTANATE BECAUSE HE IS NOT THE FIRST BORN. HE STOLE THE TITLE FROM HIS NEPHEW AND THAT MAKES HIM A FAKE SULTAN AFTER HIS BROTHER (MAHAKUTTAH) AND NOT AFTER HIS FATHER (ESMAIL I). BUT NO MATTER WHAT THEY SAY OR DO, FUAD AND OMAR ARE FAKE. THEY CANNOT CIRCUMVENT THE OLD MUSLIM TRADITION BY THE RUMA BECHARA AS THE LEGITIMATE BODY TO PROCLAIM A SULTAN.

THE RUMA BECHARA OF SULTAN ESMAIL KIRAM I WAS THE SAME RUMA BECHARA THAT INSTALLED SULTAN JAMALUL AS INTERIM SULTAN THROUGH THE PETITION APPROVED BY PRES. MARCOS THEREFORE MAKING THE ERRONEOUS INSTALLATION OF MAHAKUTTAH AS SULTAN NULL AND VOID.  UPON PUNJUNGAN'S  RETURN FROM SABAH, HE WAS PROCLAIMED AND CROWNED BY THE SAME RUMA BECHARA AS SULTAN OF SULU ATTENDED BY MAHAKUTTAH WHO CONCEDED THE SULTANRY TO HIS UNCLE SINCE HE WAS THE LEGITIMATE RAJA MUDA.

BUT BOTTOM LINE IS FUAD AND OMAR HAVE NO SINGLE EVIDENCE TO PROVE THEIR CLAIMS. THEY GO ABOUT THEIR USUAL TALK, TALK WITH NO PROOF! QUACK, QUACK AND OUT OF WHACK!

SULU: THE STORY OF TWO SULTANS AND THE STORY OF A FAKE SULTAN

Below is a brief history of how it came about that Fuad Kiram's father was proclaimed Sultan but was not recognized by the Ruma Bechara,  the Royal Council that proclaims the rightful heir to the throne of Sulu.

Below is the Royal Laws of Succession and not the one that Omar Kiram (a.k.a Omar Maniquis, an inpostor and fake prince) had edited and posted on their elaborate website to make them look legit. Omar has distorted the facts of the Royal Laws of Succession. 

To become a Sultan, one has to be a Raja Muda first who then ascends to the throne when the Sultan dies. Fuad was never close as an heir apparent to the throne. After Sultan Esmail Kiram I (father of Mahakuttah and Fuad) the succession was as follows:

 1. Punjungan (Sultan Esmail's Raja Muda and Jamalul's father)

 2. Jamalul III

 3. Esmail II

 4. Agbimuddin

 5. Phugdar

 6. Ibrahim

 7. Mahakuttah (Muedzul-Lail or Butch T. Kiram's father, brother of Fuad)

In 1974, there was chaos and war in Sulu and the whole Jolo was on fire. Jamalul and his family went to attend to the sick and wounded. So when President Marcos asked where the royalties were, someone close to Marcos named Rasul told Marcos that Jamalul and his family went to the mountains and joined the rebels which was not true.

When Marcos could not locate any of the royalty, Mahakuttah was proclaimed as Sultan to which the Ruma Bechara under the leadership of Princess Tarhata contested and filed a petition to have Jamalul be proclaimed as the interim Sultan while awaiting for Punjungan who was the Sultan Esmail Kiram I's Raja Muda (Jamalul's father) to come back from Sabah. Punjungan went to Sabah in 1967 by the invitation of Tunko Rahman to become the Sultan of Sabah. But a political double-crossed by Mustapha prevented it from happening.

So in the same year of 1974, President Marcos approved the petition and the Ruma Bechara proclaimed Jamalul as the interim Sultan awaiting for the return of Punjungan. Marcos gave Enrile a memorandum to offer Mahakuttah a government job and stay out of the way. Mahakuttah rejected it. When martial law ended in 1980, Crown Prince Punjungan returned from North Borneo to Jolo.  The Ruma Bechara, along with all the datus and leaders of the different municipalities of Sulu, gathered in Jolo to proclaim Datu Punjungan as the rightful Sultan. At that time, they also proclaimed Datu Jamalul Kiram III as Raja Muda. Sultan MAHAKUTTAH WAS PRESENT AT THE GATHERING IN JOLO AND WILLINGLY RENOUNCED THE SULTANRY IN FAVOR OF HIS UNCLE, SULTAN PUNJUNGAN. After Punjungan died in 1984, Jamalul was proclaimed by the Ruma Bechara as Sultan and was crowned in 1986. Mahakuttah went around restless and drank himself to death in 1986.

When Mahakuttah died, his Raja Muda Mued-zul Lail T. Kiram filed his claim as the next Sultan. But Omar and Fuad made all allegations of haram acts by Muedzul-Lail so they could justify Fuad taking the title away from Muedzul-Lail and make themselves look good. They then conferred titles, left, right and center (on Facebook which is the cheapest way to do it) to incite people to support them. They have disrespected the Muslim tradition of bestowing titles by using western nobility and using the Sulu Sultanate address where they don't live. They cannot set foot in Sulu because people there will lynch them if they do. They are not welcome there! So all these misleading acts typical of con-artists are all for money.

Fuad Kiram's third wife Farida whose facebook account is under her daughter's name (Habiba Kiram)  by Fuad and who left her when she was still pregnant, has claimed Fuad had never given a single cent of support to their daughter. She also claimed that she was battered by Fuad. These declarations are on her facebook wall. The girl is very brave coming forward to tell the world of her story. Omar was  able to come between Fuad and the family because Fuad is destitute and Omar has been supporting his basic needs like the small house he's renting in Angono, Rizal. Fuad has no income and no assets so depends on Omar for his daily sustenance. He allows a con-artist to use him as a puppet and Omar as the Master Puppeteer.

Does it make you wonder why Fuad was proclaimed in a basketful court with only few people and no royalty attendees? Does it not make you wonder why his proclamation was not done by the Ruma Bechara and it was not held in Sulu which is the seat of the Sultanate but  in a small barangay of Rizal? Does it not make you wonder why Omar who has been using Fuad to confer bogus royal Sulu title left, right and center from  Maimbung, Sulu where they don't live and cannot even set foot in?

Additonal info:

After the MacKaskie agreement was entered into on October 11, 1939, the State of Borneo was awarded to the Kiram heirs to which the administrator was Sultan Punjungan Kiram, the father of Jamalul. The Kiram heirs  decided to signed the document to drop the claim on Sabah during the Ramos administration for monetary settlement. All 8 heirs signed the document except for Sultan Jamalul Kiram III. Sultan Jamalul was and is the only person among the heirs representatives who blocked the monetary settlement. To him, he wanted to get Sabah back for the people and back to the Sultanate. Since the Republic of the Philippines and Malaysia only recognized Jamalul as the true Sultan and whose father was the administrator of the Sabah estate, Malaysia rejected the eight signatures. So this is where the Sabah issue is now.   

These documents below are authentic copies of the Ruma Bechara's petition signed by President Marcos nullifying the installation of Mahakuttah since the above legitimate heirs before him were still alive at that time. The line of succession cannot be broken just by the wish of someone or a sultan for that matter. The above heirs have to be all dead or must relinquish their right before Mahakuttah could be legally proclaimed by the Ruma Bechara as Sultan. The line of succession was already in place and had been selected by the Ruma Bechara who has the only right to proclaim a legitimate Sultan.

SABAH CLAIM: SENATOR JOVITO SALONGA's LESSONS IN PATRIOTISM AND THE RULE OF LAW

There are some natives of this country, the Philippines, who have decided that the Philippine Sabah claim is either too difficult or is not at all valid. I call those people, while undoubtedly and wholly patriotic, the disciples of Senator Lorenzo Sumulong, the senator who once berated the Philippine government over the Republic's Sabah claim.

To help the "doubting Thomases" or the "Senator Lorenzo Sumulong disciples" among us understand where we are coming from, allow me to re-post here the speech by the Father of the Philippine Sabah Claim, Senator Jovito Salonga rebutting the accusations made by Senator Lorenzo Sumulong in which the good Senator [Sumulong] berated "...the merit and validity of the Republic's claim, accusing his own Government of gross ignorance and holding in unbelievable disdain the Philippine position on the British-sponsored Malaysia plan. He has chosen to assault the Philippine position at a time when his own Government, by virtue of the British request, may be said to be somewhat helpless in making, right in our own country, an adequate, fully-documented defense of the Philippine stand. "

APPEASING MALAYSIA: Must we thrash the notions of national self-respect and human dignity in the name of bogus "peace"?

Barely two months ago was 134th anniversary of the signing of the Sabah lease. Today, the Philippines and Malaysia-funded MILF rebels are setting a timeline for the signing of a "peace treaty" under full Malaysia supervision. The talks are currently ongoing in the heart of Malaysia. It seems that not only are we prepared to play doormats in relation to Sabah but it also looks like we are tacitly about to open the gates of Mindanao to full-scale incursion by Malaysia. Must we thrash the notions of national self-respect and human dignity in the name of bogus "peace"? 

SABAH LEASE IS KEY BASIS OF OUR RIGHT TO SABAH

When the Sabah lease was signed 134 years ago -- on the 22nd of January 1878, between the Sultanate of Sulu & Sabah and two foreign businessmen, the Sultanate ensured that their rights to Sabah ownership were protected with this all encompassing moral and legal clause clearly spelled out in the lease contract, to wit: 

"...but the rights and powers hereby leased shall not be transferred to any nation, or a company of other nationality, without the consent of Their Majesties Government." 

 

The whole Mindanao-Moro problem and Malaysia's incursion right in the heart of Philippine Moro 'homeland' is without a shadow of doubt tied to the Philippine Sabah claim.

The Malaysians know it and the Filipinos know it but Kuala Lumpur will do everything in their power to make sure that the Philippines will not have a moment's respite to turn around and raise the Sabah claim. And the problem is being compounded by the fact that successive Chinese communities in Sabah have staged their own claim over Sabah and over the last couple of decades; they have been at it, trying to muster political support from the population of Sabah to claim "independence" from Malaysia.

As years go and while this problem is unsettled, there will be more problems -- political and military, that are bound to arise and could very well bring the Sabah question to the inevitable: armed conflict which it almost did back in the 60s when the Philippines attempted to take physical control of Sabah in a covert operation code-named "Operation Merdeka."

After 134 years, it is time to examine the contents of the lease and to bring them out in the open. The Republic of the Philippines nor Malaysia cannot continue to be blind. Sabah is either the Philippines' or it is not -- only a minitious examination of facts done in absolute good faith can determine final legal and moral ownership.

If the parties to the claim or to the counter claim refuse -- and that includes major counter claimant Malaysia, to adhere to the principle of good faith, I'm afraid, the peace and order problem in Mindano will continue as the rebel forces in Mindanao are encouraged, maintained and funded by the the current occupiers of Sabah. And unless we face this extremely sensitive Sabah question head on, there is every chance that we will be encouraging Malaysia to invade Mindanao by proxy.
